This guy doesn't care whether you call him Tobias, Toby, or the Tobster. As long as you call him your friend, he comes running with his happy face and wagging tail. Just give him a toy and watch him play!
Visit his page to learn more about Tobias, or go to our Dogs for Adoption page to see other dogs looking for homes.

Help support ARFP and get cool stuff to boot by shopping our online retail store.
Or visit us at the Next Step Adoption Center for even more great items, including greeting cards, dog and cat beds, toys, treats, bowls, and Feliway and DAP products!
If we could have anything as a gift for the holidays, we'd ask for no more pets to be homeless. But until that day comes, there are a few things ARFP would be grateful for, to help us save more homeless pets. You can help us by downloading our 2008 Holiday Wishlist, posting it wherever you can, and bringing items from it to us at the Next Step Adoption Center.
Looking for good food and a way to help a great cause? Then join ARFP for dinner on Monday, January 26, 2009 from 5-9pm at McAllister's Deli in Jefferson Village on New Garden Road in Greensboro, NC. Five percent of your purchase will be donated to ARFP so we can save more homeless pets.
Let your gently used purses and pocketbooks help homeless puppies and kittens by donating them to ARFP for our annual purse sale. Donations can be dropped off at the NSAC during open hours.
This year's sale will be held in February 2009 at Sedgefield Presbyterian Church. Check back for more details closer to the sale.
Ever wonder what happens in the day-to-day with ARFP and the pets in our program? Then head on over to the ARFP blog, where you can read about events, foster pets, and all the things ARFP does -- and ways you can help, too.
You can find us on MySpace, too!
Did you know that you can donate to ARFP through United Way? Even though we aren't a listed United Way charity, you can still earmark that your yearly United Way donation go to ARFP.
How about those old gold rings, necklaces, and bracelets from past relationships? Or Mom's jewelry she thought you'd love, but it's really so outdated it just takes up space in your drawers? Donate it to ARFP! Your old gold could pay for vaccinations for a litter of kittens, spay a mother cat, or treat a dog for heartworms. We are in the midst of kitten and puppy season, therefore in the midst of our costliest time of the year. Your gold can be turned into money for ARFP!
Don't have any gold jewelry? Hit up friends and co-workers to donate theirs! Receipts gladly given!
You knew GoodSearch was a great way to raise money for ARFP just by searching the Web. But did you know you can GoodShop, too?
Choose Animal Rescue & Foster Program as the charity you're supporting on the GoodShop page. Then go through GoodShop to visit the same online retailers you normally shop at -- places like PetSmart; Barnes & Noble; Target; Staples; and iTunes -- and pay the same price for products that you normally would. The retailers will donate a percentage of your purchase price to ARFP to help us save homeless pets!
If you could help save pets just by doing something you already do every day, would you? Of course! With GoodSearch, you can. Searching with GoodSearch is just like searching with Yahoo Search; they both use the same engine. The only difference is when you designate ARFP as your charity, GoodSearch donates money to us every time you use it to search the Web. It doesn't cost anything to use GoodSearch, and there's no limit to how many times you can search each day.
For 2007, ARFP earned $274 thanks to our supporters who use GoodSearch. At a penny a search, that's 27,400 searches to save homeless pets! And you can help us do even better this year!
Learn more about using GoodSearch to help raise money for ARFP.
You can see ARFP pets available for adoption every week at one of our adoption fairs. Check out the calendar on the Upcoming Events page to see where ARFP will be this month, or visit us at one of our regular adoption fairs:
It's a dirty job, but someone's got to do it! When you bring your used cell phones and printer cartridges*, we recycle them -- and get money in return to help save more homeless pets. So you get to help twice -- first by keeping old cell phones and printer cartridges out of landfills, and then by helping us raise money to save homeless pets.
You can drop off your old cell phones and printer cartridges at the Next Step Adoption Center during any open hours.
And spread the news to friends and co-workers by downloading the attached flyer!
*Not sure if we can recycle your printer cartridge? Check the list!
